Founded by a father and a son, Mock Electric sets the standard for professional electrical services in the Lowcountry.

The Mocks have been electricians for four generations.

James Henry Mock began his journey in electrical work with Ritter Lumber. He plied his trade in an area of South Carolina’s Lowcountry important to East Coast logging until the company shut down. When they closed, James began working for himself. The pinnacle of his career may have been in support of the war effort when he wired the Savannah River Site. He enjoyed career satisfaction and success leading to his four sons all choosing to be electricians. They spread into Savannah, Beaufort, and Ridgeland.

Rogers chose to base his electrical operations in Ridgeland under the name Rogers Mock Electric. His three sons got into the business and in 1982 formed Tri-M Electric. Brothers Dayne and Murray focused on its expansion when their other brother moved. They continued to work closely together as they powered Hilton Head, Charleston, Savannah, Augusta and Brunswick during the development booms of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

Sadly, in 2004 Murray passed away and Dayne operated Tri-M by himself until ultimately selling the company to a larger electrical engineering firm. Once he satisfied his non-compete, Dayne joined his son, Dustin Mock, a recent MBA graduate from Clemson, to form Mock Electric. Father and son enjoy the opportunity to expand their connection working in tandem on commercial and industrial projects throughout South Carolina and Georgia.

The Mock Electric team enjoys building on the success and experience of four generations of electricians.
